SUNDAYS AT 10:45 AM

It is Finished

He is not here, for He is risen, just as He said.

Matthew 28:6

Let us break the alabaster vial

Let us give a sacrifice of worship

Let us prepare our hearts to remember that our savior died,

He gave His life, His all for us

Let us take up the bread,

And lift up the wine

Let us remember the body that was broken,

The blood that was shed for the forgiveness of our sins

Lord, there is peace!

On Your own initiative, You have paid the price,

Laid down Your life-

Your blood has turned away wrath and judgement

Through Your blood,

We have been made perfect in conscience

Fully forgiven, eternally redeemed,

Given direct access into Your presence

Oh, what a blessing,

To be brought near to God!

Through the death of our Savior,

We approach the throne of grace boldly

Lord, Your blood has covered our sins

The veil has been torn!

You have thrown back the curtain,

And invited us to follow You in to the Holy of Holies

We are able to draw near with a sincere heart,

In full assurance of faith

Praise the Lord!

It is finished-

The covenant has been ratified

Once and for all, our debt is cancelled!

Not only did You die for us,

But on Your own authority,

You rose again!

Your glorification has come.

Will we find our Savior among the dead?

No! He is not with them,

For He has risen!

On the third day, just as He said

I praise You, Lord, for Your faithfulness

When You speak, it is done-

It will come to pass, just as You have said

For You, oh Lord, are trustworthy

All authority has been given to you,

In heaven and on earth

You are exalted above all- Your name is LORD

Every knee will bow,

Every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

The Holy Spirit has been poured out on all those who believe

From our innermost being,

Flow rivers of living water!

The Lord is glorified!

We are born again to a living hope,

Through the resurrection of our Savior

In our hearts, worship has been reinstituted,

And we cry out, “My Lord and my God!”

Since coming to salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ in 2010, I have been striving to write poetry that brings praise and worship to the Lord. It is my hope that this poetry is an encouragement to my fellow believers and that it reminds them of His Word and directs them to it. I am the mother of two beautiful girls, Alice and Elsie, and a wife to my wonderful husband, Dan Williams. I love to read, to write, and to draw.
